Brand Identity - Logo and Slogan

For our product, we decided that before we could create an advertisement, we needed our product to have an identity and be recognisable to the public. This is the only way in which it will stand out and have an impact. Through research, we recognised that logos and slogans are usually short and sweet. For example, Nike simply uses a tick, and the slogan 'Just Do It.' I feel this is motivational on its own, as it encourages people to just get involved in sport.

With name ideas, we decided we needed to settle for something that was short and easy to remember. Steve suggested the word 'Tiger,' as it has the connotations of being fast, strong and powerful - all things we want our product to relate too. Then, Steve suggested we abbreviate the word to 'TGR,' in order for it to be unique and memorable. Naturally, the colours of our logo are black and orange stripes, and our main logo, a paw print. The logo needed to be simple, so this was perfect and works well together.

Steve suggested our slogan to be 'change the game,' which is perfect for what we are advertising and relates well to sport. It is also motivational, as it encourages people to get involved in sport in their own way. Therefore, it suits our motives perfectly. I then suggested, for the running advert, we add the word 'Run,' similar to 'Nike Run,' as it shows a specific area of our company. This will be effective in appealing to a certain audience, interested in running, and works well for our second idea.
